Your first time in a Hot Air Balloon

The first time someone flies in a hot air balloon they are naturally apprehensive, it natural for something that you have not experienced before, don’t worry at Balloons over Britain we have made thousands of flights with first timers, many of whom come back again.
You will arrive at the launch site if summer it will probably be a warm, windless morning, perfect for flying, with dew still covering the grass beneath our feet. As the sun rises the crew will begin work and attach the basket to the balloon and lay the whole system on its side in the grass.
Then they turn on a fan at the mouth of the balloon and partially inflate it with cold air before firing up the two propane burners. When you climb in the basket and join your fully qualified pilot your adventure begins. You gently rise and drift with the wind seeing landmarks below from an entirely different aspect. All too soon the trip is over and you are on the ground drinking your champagne with your fellow passengers. You see it was fantastic and you are sure that you will book a balloon flight with Balloons over Britain again.
