Let The Breeze Create The Most Relaxing Essex Day of Your Life

Hot air balloons are not directed through the sky, they float on the breeze and so will always follow a different route, making each and every journey you take a unique adventure. For those who are wary of heights, this can sound a little intimidating, however rest assured, Countryside Balloons are a Civil Aviation Authority that are a licensed balloon operator.  They have been ballooning in Essex longer than any other balloon operator and so you can count on their local knowledge as know you’re in safe hands. During the flight in-flight photographs are taken and also photographs are taken outside the balloon of everyone in the basket. You will enjoy a beautiful float across the skies of Essex and sometimes Suffolk casting your eyes over views such Kelvedon Mill (as featured above), Brentwood, Chelmsford House and many others. As the balloon ride comes to an end, breath in the last of that pure air and then gently land and to be met by the balloon’s ground crew and start your very own Champagne celebration.

Countryside Balloons have so much to offer and a variety of launch sites to choose from, each taking you above an assortment of different routes leading to a world of treats to cast your eyes upon. The location is in your control, what you’ll see when you’re up there however, is down to the breeze!

Balloon Rides Over Lincolnshire

Lincolnshire-Village.jpg

A balloon ride is known to be one of the most spectacular experiences of your life, the first time and every time. Choosing a scenic route or location is a vital element of getting the best out of your flight. Lincolnshire, known for its historic attractions, beautiful country side and closeness to nature, is possibly one of the best spots. Flights over Lincolnshire launch from Grantham, Stamford and Rutland Water, all giving a ‘wow’ effect entrance to the lucky passengers. You will pass over Grimsthorpe Castle which is near the market town of Bourne and was built in the 13th Century. This ancient building is surrounded by 3,000 acres of rolling pastures, landscaped lakes and historic woodland and if you’re lucky, you may even sneak a peek at the medieval deer park.

Starting in Stamford, you will be launching from what is known as the ‘best stone town in England’. You will pass over medieval buildings and Georgian streets all of which are said to be architecturally outstanding. Look out for Burghley House which lies on the edge of the town and is well known for being the largest and grandest house of the first Elizabethan Age! You may also see Rochford Hall which is a rather glorious Victorian country mansion and is this ‘best stone’, the local mellow stone, as are many of the villages in the area such as Manthorpe and Belton.

Launching from Rutland Water, prepare to be amazed as you gaze over the largest manmade lake in Western Europe. It covers 3,100 acres and has a proud international reputation for providing the perfect location for a balance of sport, leisure and wildlife conservation. Surrounded by a selection of charming and picturesque villages, it is clear how Rutland remains a predominantly agricultural county.

For more breath taking pictures and event details, take a look at the Balloon Rides Ltd page or you can even choose from a great selection of locations, have you got somewhere in particular in mind?
