The operator in any given area must choose the launch site that takes into account the conditions of the day; he has to avoid obvious restrictions for instance air traffic control zones, or avoid landing in areas that are unsuitable. Because conditions do vary from day to day, you operator may have mere than one launch site and you will be advised on the day you are to fly which is the one chosen.

The balloon consists of a basket in which the pilot and his passengers ride, together with propane cylinders, essential if we are to get off the ground. The propane fuels the burner which is controlled by the fully qualified pilot and it is this that is the secret to the successful launch. Basically we know that hot air rises and it is this hot air that is produced by the propane gas burners, are caught in the envelope of the balloon to move it off the ground and into the air.
